Games, prizes, food and fun at Friday’s carnival at Holyoke Elementary School certainly matched anything found under a big top circus. Kids enjoyed everything from cotton candy to face painting to daring competitions of all kinds.

The March 16 Carnival for Classrooms, sponsored by Partners in Education (P.I.E.), raised money for Holyoke schools by selling game tickets as well as a silent auction with creative baskets made by school classrooms.
