|Community Night Monday|
|Written by Holyoke Enterprise|
To get a taste of Holyoke’s many fine businesses and organizations, the community is invited to Holyoke Chamber of Commerce’s 29th Annual Community Night Monday, March 12 at Holyoke High School.
From 5:30-7:30 p.m. community members can visit information booths set up by area businesses and non-profit organizations. As of Monday, March 5, 30 booths had been reserved.
In addition to handing out information, many businesses will also have giveaways and door prize drawings.
A free pork loin dinner will be provided by Seaboard Foods. Holyoke FBLA members will help serve drinks and Melissa Memorial Hospital staff members will help serve the meal. There will be an adult and youth Holyoke Scrip drawing as well as other prizes and giveaways.
Holyoke Volunteer Fire Department plans to have a display with equipment as well as a fire truck. Two newly hired Holyoke Police Department officers, Dwight Thompson and Larry Drake, will also be on hand to meet the public.
Community members are asked to enter the event from the south side of the high school. This is where the fire truck will be parked—weather permitting.
