Holyoke’s junior high girls’ basketball team saw the season come to a close Tuesday, Feb. 28 at the A tournament in Ovid.

The girls won one game and fell in another to end the season.

Holyoke beat Sedgwick County 28-17. Megan Parker led the team with 12 points. Adi Bencomo scored 10 and Kaitlyn Shafer, Brook Prottsman and Roni Beavers each had two points.

The Dragons fell to Haxtun 16-31 during last Tuesday’s tournament.

Bencomo had six points, Beavers five, Prottsman three and Karen Nuñez two.
