Legacy Event sees increased crowd, funds raised PDF Print E-mail
Written by Holyoke Enterprise

Event organizers were very pleased with the turnout at this year’s Melissa Memorial Hospital Foundation Western Splendor Legacy Event. Roughly 250 people attended this year’s event which raised approximately $60,000 for the foundation. Table and raffle sales, auction funds and donations all figured into the total amount raised.

Both a silent and regular auction were held with the help of auctioneer Lloyd Michael, Jr., pictured above, of Michael Auction Service.

The item bringing the most was a hand-assembled grandfather clock
from Harlan Stern, pictured above.

Sarah Alberts of Fort Collins won the raffle. Her mother-in-law Linda
Alberts, pictured below with Steve Young, accepted on her behalf.

The event was co-chaired by Steve and Kim Young and dance music was provided by “NightDrivers” of Grant, Neb. following the meal.
