|JV grabs 3 wins|

Holyoke’s boys’ JV basketball team marked up three more wins this past week. Tuesday, Feb. 7 they downed Dundy County 67-41. Thursday, Feb. 9 they beat Haxtun 52-40 and Monday, Feb. 13 the squad earned an impressive 62-22 victory over Burlington.
Against Dundy County, the boys jumped out to an impressive 30-12 lead and didn’t relinquish it. Thirteen Dragons scored with Deyten Klein leading with 15 points. Ryan Parker had 10, Logan Zeiler seven, Harry Paulin and Tito Fierro six, Wyatt Powell five, Brett Cumming and Tanner Smith four, Kody Timm three, Chris Bieber, Jaydin Goldenstein and Daniel Bencomo two and Matt Golden one.
The Dragons grabbed the early lead but their county rival fought back to take a 20-17 advantage at the half. Holyoke turned up the heat in the second half to outscore the Bulldogs 35-20 and grab the win.
Klein led with 13 followed by Paulin 12, Smith eight, Zeiler seven, Parker six, Goldenstein four and Cumming two.
The Dragons put on a clinic against Burlington Monday night. After trailing by one point following the opening quarter, the team turned on the jets and dominated the rest of the game.
Parker led the team with 14, Klein 11, Paulin nine, Zeiler eight, Golden and Cumming seven, Goldenstein four and Fierro two.
