Challengers 4-H Club
The Challengers 4-H Club held its third meeting of the year in the Biesemeier Room at the Phillips County Event Center on Jan. 8.
The meeting was called to order by president Molly Brandt. There were 24 members and 14 parents present. Jessica Johnson led the Cloverbud activity. Secretary Grace Dille read thank you notes sent to the Challengers 4-H Club.
Ashley Rahe and Emily Jelden gave the committee report for the Holyoke Community Federal Credit Union Annual meeting on Feb. 20. They will organize the schedule, games and prizes.
A committee was formed to decide which group will receive club donations this year. Molly Brandt, Ashley Rahe and Emily Jelden will serve on this committee.
The Challengers will attend the National Western Stock Show Jan. 17. Mariane Ortner will coordinate the trip.
Club members were reminded to register their projects online by Feb. 1.
Molly Brandt adjourned the meeting. The Brandt and Bergner families served Denver Bronco orange floats. The next Challengers meeting will be Feb. 12.
