|CSP seeking applicants for youth academy|

The Sterling office of the Colorado State Patrol is currently seeking applicants for the 2012 Colorado State Patrol Youth Academy.
The academy will be held in Golden June 10-16.
The goal of the youth academy is to assist in the development of future community leaders through team exercises and skill building.
Training will include:
—team building and leadership.
—Alive at 25—defensive driving course.
—ethics and law enforcement.
—introduction to law enforcement driving.
—firearm safety and familiarization.
—history and philosophy of the Colorado State Patrol.
The youth academy is limited to 40 high school students aged 16 or older from throughout the state. The academy is provided at no cost to the participants and is made possible through partnership with community businesses, organizations and the Colorado State Patrol.
