Sagehorn awarded Dordt College scholarships PDF Print E-mail

    Elisa Sagehorn, daughter of Keith and Diane Sagehorn of Holyoke, has been awarded a Dordt College Presidential Scholarship and a Vermeer Foundation Agriculture Scholarship at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa for the 2009-10 academic year.
    Sagehorn was a 2008 graduate of Holyoke High School and is interested in the field of animal science, agriculture business, biology or pre-veterinary science.
    Dordt College Presidential Scholarships are academic awards based on GPA, ACT or SAT scores, extra-curricular involvement and leadership contributions. These scholarships are renewable based on cumulative GPA.
    Vermeer Charitable Foundation Agriculture Scholarship is awarded to incoming students who plan to major in agriculture. Recipients are chosen on the basis of academics and career goals, along with leadership potential and involvement in agriculture projects. This scholarship is renewable based on cumulative GPA and continuing to major in agriculture.
    Currently serving as a state FFA officer, Sagehorn will begin attending Dordt College in the fall 2009 semester.
