|Four to attend Boys State|

HHS juniors Christopher Bieber, Jeremy Loutensock, Alex Quintana and Austin Killin were selected by American Legion Post #90 in Holyoke to attend Colorado Boys State June 5-11 at CSU-Pueblo.
Boys State delegates join hundreds of other juniors from high schools throughout the state of Colorado who have demonstrated outstanding qualities of leadership, character, scholarship, loyalty and service to their schools.
Delegates to Boys State organize cities and counties and run their own governments. They learn lessons in duty, responsibility, honor, government, privilege, dignity and character.

Bieber’s information was not available as of press time. He is the son of Chris Wayne and Susie Bieber.
Loutensock has participated in basketball, track, FCCLA and FBLA.
He has achieved his Eagle Scout Award and Silver Palm through Boy Scouts of America and is active in the young men’s organization for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Loutensock is the son of Trent and Laura Loutensock.
Killin has served the past year as class treasurer and is a member of National Honor Society. He has been on the superintendent’s honor roll for three years.
Killin is one of the creators and co-hosts of Wake Up Holyoke. Killin is involved with select choir, football, basketball and baseball and has been named to the Academic All-State first team. He has also participated in two productions with the drama department.
He has attended the State Young Leaders Conference and the Global Young Leaders Conference with the Congressional Youth Leadership Council.
He is also a student leader with Holyoke’s FCA chapter.
Killin is the son of Troy and Kim Killin.
Quintana has been on the principal’s honor roll and superintendent’s honor roll and served as class treasurer and a student council representative.
He has held officer positions with FBLA and will be president his senior year. He placed 10th in community service his sophomore year at the state competition and first his junior year which qualified him for nationals.
He is a two-year member of student leadership. He has participated in football for one year and basketball and track for three years. He has qualified for the state track meet in numerous events the past two years.
Quintana is the son of Jorge and Gloria Quintana.
