Hayes to be in 'Law and Order' episode PDF Print E-mail
Written by Holyoke Enterprise

Lincoln Hayes, a 2003 graduate of Holyoke High School, will be on TV Sunday, May 15.

It will be a Law and Order episode featuring City Winery in New York City, where Hayes is employed.

It will air at 9 p.m. Eastern time or 7 p.m. MDST Sunday.

Hayes said he plays a winery technician in City Winery in the show.

He was walking by and City Winery’s former marketing director asked him if he wanted to do Law and Order.

“Yeah. Wait. For real?” responded Hayes.

He got the details and was told he would be getting a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) waiver. This is a coveted thing as it can be a stepping stone to getting into the film actors’ union, said Hayes.

He said the show was one of the easiest things he’s ever done. He arrived at 7 a.m., was done by 8:45 and was home and back in bed by 10:30.

Also in Hayes’ scene in the Law and Order episode is Bryan Batt, formerly of Mad Men (Salvatore Romano).

Hayes is the son of Steve and Ronda Hayes.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley in 2007, with a double major in theatre arts and dance (emphasis in acting) and journalism and mass communications (emphasis in telecommunications).
