Holyoke girls’ golf team hosted a scramble tournament in Holyoke Tuesday, April 26.

Five Lady Dragon golfers took to the course for the 18-hole scramble style tournament. Teams participating were Wray, Yuma, Brush, Fleming and Holyoke.

Makayla Spitz and Caity Kramer carded a 103 to lead the Dragons. Kelsey Kramer golfed with Valeria Arambula of Wray and the duo shot a 115.

Briar Bergner and Dominique Slack carded a 115 to round out the scoring for the Dragons.

Darcy Vernon and Megan Neumann of Wray won the event after turning in a score of 72.

The Dragons traveled to Wray Thursday, April 21.

Spitz took second place in the JV tournament after carding a nine-hole score of 53. Slack shot a 67, Kelsey Kramer 69 and Caity Kramer 70.

The Dragons are scheduled to travel to Fleming for a dual Thursday, May 5. Tee-off is set for 2 p.m.

The regional tournament is scheduled for Monday, May 9 at Marianna Butte Golf Course in Loveland.
