|Holyoke team wins state USBC tournament|

Holyoke’s Should-a-Bens took first place at the 58th Women’s Classified Handicap Bowling Tournament in Arvada April 16-17. Team members are pictured from left, Karla DeBoer, Marilyn Miller, Kim Young and Wanda Hassler. There were 218 teams in the handicap division. The Should-a-Bens held an average of 552 which placed them in the division.
The team finished with a total of 2,862 with handicap. In all events, Young placed fourth in Class 4 with a 1,428. DeBoer had a 1,418 in Class 3. Miller and Young also placed in the money in doubles with 1,411. Hassler rolled a 233 Scratch in her first game and Young had a 500 Scratch series.
