|FFA groups capture first at districts|

Holyoke FFA members brought home two first-place finishes from the Northeast FFA District competition Wednesday, April 6.
The dairy judging team comprised of Jacinda Krueger, Logan Tharp, Kelsey Kramer, Caity Kramer, Tanner Smith and Elissa Baker took first place. Krueger was first overall, Tharp second, Kelsey Kramer fourth, Caity Kramer fifth, Smith sixth and Baker seventh.
Coleton Spitz, Makayla Spitz, Emma Adams and Alyssa Roll made up the first-place horse judging team. Coleton Spitz was third overall, Makayla Spitz fourth and Adams fifth.
Patricia Adams also competed in the job interview contest and finished third.
The horse and job interview contests were held at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling and the dairy contest was held in Kersey.
