16-year-old Dillon Yost will soon be a veteran world traveler, as he begins plans for his second mission trip overseas.
Yost will be heading to Romania this summer with a team of young people from Global Expeditions and Teen Mania.
“I just felt like God called me to it,” said Yost, noting he will be spending almost a month in Romania helping with orphans, vacation Bible school and street ministries.

Yost will meet up with team members in Texas July 9 for a few days of training before flying to Romania. He thought they would probably be staying in Bucharest, the Romanian capital. The team plans to head home Aug. 4.
Yost said some of the challenges with mission work in Romania will be the language barrier as well as getting used to working with kids.
Another challenge will be raising support to go on the trip. With the goal of raising over $3,000, Yost is asking community members for their support both financially and through prayer as he makes preparations for this exciting mission trip.
Donations, which are tax-deductible, can be sent to Yost at 55753 Co. Rd. BB, Holyoke, CO 80734. Checks can be made payable to Dillon Yost or Global Expeditions.
Yost gets taste of mission field during Scotland trip
In 2010, Yost spent about a month of his summer with a team of 35 teenagers on a Global Expeditions/Teen Mania mission trip in Scotland.
They spent time in Perth and near Glasgow doing street ministry and skits. The group even got to stay in the historical Overtoun House.
Apart from the unfortunate effects of jet lag, Yost really enjoyed getting to know all his team members, a few of which will be joining him in Romania this summer.
