|RRWCD to hold regular meeting|

The Board of Directors of the Republican River Water Conservation District will be holding its regular quarterly meeting in Wray Thursday, Oct. 14 at 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the United Methodist Church.
Agenda items scheduled include: approve minutes of previous meetings; approve quarterly financials; receive reports updates and reports on programs; recognize appointments of Directors for new terms from Yuma and Logan counties, the Frenchman and Sandhills Ground Water Management Districts, and the Ground Water Commission; election of officers; review committee assignments; approve resolution to hold special board meeting in Greeley; consider and approve the RRWCD-WAE budget for 2011; approve resolution opposing Amendments 60 and 61 and Proposition 101; authorize the filing of an application to change the South Fork water rights purchased by the RRWCD-WAE; consider terminating the lease of the Dryden West Property and water rights and putting the property and water rights up for bid; discussion of leasing the Tracy water rights; consider progressing with the construction of the Compact Compliance Pipeline; as well as other matters.
Public Comment will be held at 1 p.m.
If necessary, the RRWCD Board of Directors will hold an executive session to develop a strategy for negotiations for the purchase, acquisition or lease of water rights, easements and property and to receive advice on legal questions, and to discuss personnel matters.
