Conceived in a rape, Rebecca Kiessling has spent much of her adult life addressing pro-life issues. A lawyer, author and homeschool mother of 5, Kiessling has appeared on CNN, Good Morning America and many more venues.
Kiessling will speak at A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center of Northeast Colorado’s fund raising banquets in January, bringing her pro-life story to northeast Colorado.
The center will host three banquets this year: Jan. 21 at Mark Arndt Events Center at the Brush Fairgrounds, Jan. 22 at the Yuma Community Center, and Jan. 23 at the new Phillips County Event Center in Holyoke.
Kiessling, in her book, Conceived in Rape: A Story of Hope, details her personal story of having been conceived in a rape and nearly aborted by two back-alley abortionists.
She has spoken on pro-life and adoption issues since 1995 across the United States and Canada. Married for 11 years, she has adopted two children while giving birth to three children.
As a family law attorney, she handled four bases attracting international attention involving the protection of preborn human life, including the “frozen embryo” case in Michigan.
The center annually hosts banquet fund raisers to raise awareness of the work of the center and also to solicit funds for the year’s operations.
