Timm receives AVCA player of the week PDF Print E-mail

Holyoke volleyball player Kendra Timm was recently selected as the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Player of the Week in the state of Colorado.

She was presented with a certificate and custom patch to commemorate her accomplishment for the week of Oct. 4.

The statistics winning her the award were posted on by coach Sandra Rahe which automatically nominated her for the award.

Timm’s stats for the two games that week were as follows:

Oct. 6 at Wiggins she had 39 attacking attempts with 17 kills, two aces and five points, four solo blocks and two assisted blocks, 19 digs and 14 returns. She played in all three matches.

On Oct. 8 in Caliche she finished with 31 attacking attempts with 16 kills, seven aces and 21 points while serving, four solo blocks and seven assisted blocks, 34 digs and 19 returns in the four games.
